Out of the 250 computer languages that are in existence, the first choice of computer professional today is C or C++. However, there are same diehards who still feel that road to haven is through Cobol. Thus, are these guys who use C, C++ stupid? Microsoft Corp. and Borland International write all their best selling software in C or C++. These comprise Windows 95, Visual C++, Borland C++ etc., all best-sellers in true sense of the word. For that matter, even the Cobol compiler is written in C.
